Your right to data deletion

If you have interacted with a Sendhelm-powered account via WhatsApp, email, or iMessage, you have the right to request deletion of any data we hold about you. This includes conversation history and any automatically extracted contact information.

How to request deletion

You can request data deletion in any of the following ways:

  1. Via Meta (WhatsApp): Remove the app from your Facebook settings under Settings → Apps and Websites. This triggers an automatic deletion request that we process immediately.
  2. Via email: Send a request to privacy@sendhelm.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the phone number or email address you communicated from.

What gets deleted

  • Conversation history (all messages exchanged)
  • Automatically learned contact details (trade, preferences, notes)
  • Any profile information associated with your contact record

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Audit log entries (which record that a deletion occurred, but not the deleted content) are retained for compliance purposes.

Processing time

Automatic deletion requests from Meta are processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation once your data has been deleted.

Confirmation

If you received a confirmation code after requesting deletion, your data has been successfully removed from our systems. Retain the confirmation code for your records.
